Thank you, John Schuerholz, the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame Executive, and visionary architect who designed and built the World Champion Atlanta Braves organization. You led the way to Atlanta’s first World Championship in 1995, and an amazing record of Division and League Championships, and the new ballpark; all preparing the Braves for their back-to-back World Series Championships. Thank you for your extraordinary leadership and vision; for Thinking Like an Architect, Not Like a Bricklayer.
We would all benefit from thinking more like an architect because it greatly increases the probability of our success. Are you a leader who sincerely wants to develop yourself into an All-Star executive? Or do you urgently need to develop members of the team you lead into the All-Star executives you must have for the World Champion caliber organization that you are building? On a scale of one to ten, is this a 9 or a 10?
If so, the same three steps apply for both All-Star goals. Begin with your success in mind by defining your destination. You will see which path to take clearly when you view your present by looking back at it from on top of your future mountain summit. Next, write your own personal strategic plan. And then dedicate yourself to the execution of your plan every day. Execution of your own strategic plan is key to achieving the success, happiness, and freedom from worry you will enjoy. Invest in yourself and in your people with a Certified Strategic Plan Orchestrator who will be your planning guide and stay at your side each step of the way to coach you as you execute your plan and succeed in attaining each component of your goals.
